“Is the FB animal charity working overtime to conceal the latest scandal published about their CEO? Sad to note that the latest casualty in a dirty tricks campaign is the popular and dedicated to animal welfare FB page ‘Onto Dog Team’.
Anybody who has supported or read the Onto Dog Team page knows that the admin give monthly grants from their own pockets to small animal shelters. Worth noting that the OTDT admin have donated personal grants of thousands of dollars in the last year for animals compared to only one grant of 300 euros (raised in an Xmas raffle) given by this now infamous charity purporting to be dedicated to fighting the trade in cats and dogs for meat and fur. So why was this tiny grant not given to rescuers of dogs from the dog meat trade but strangely to a Romanian shelter? Could it possibly be that they requested in return photos of the Romanian beneficiaries wearing their logo t shirts?
OTDT have often lightened our days on FB with their pithy posts and hilarious satirical pics. My all time favorite Onto Dog Team pic is supposed to be me depicted as the phantom hacker (I have foolishly been accused of being) attacking the charity.
So yet again a valuable animal advocate page falls foul of offending the ‘not so tender’ sensibilities of Mme CEO and her cohorts, who are quite simply only interested in promoting her personally as a public figure. Shame on the people who are now scrambling to hide the evidence by getting FB pages taken down in the forlorn hope that they will one day bask in the warm glow of her gratuitous glory seeking.
The Onto Dog Team admin were also a guiding light in researching genuine rescues, having been severely financially bitten by the above mentioned charity. We knew that their choices for grants were to be trusted and were encouraged to put our own hands in our pockets for their selected recipient of funds. The animal welfare community have sadly lost a genuine animal advocate FB page.”
